| Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. |

| 5 | Pull suction line (4) out of expansion valve (5) and close off | ||

| 7 | Pull pressure line (7) out of expansion valve (5) and close off | ||

| 9 | Unclip brake line (8) from holder (9) and push to one side | ||
| 10 | Clamp off coolant hoses (10, 11) using pinch-off pliers (12) and remove from the connection fitting (13) on the air conditioner housing (A32) | Tools for installing/removing cooling and heating hoses | |
| 11 | Seal connection fitting (13) on air conditioner housing (A32) | Coolant leaks through connection fittings (13) that are not closed off when the air conditioner housing (A32) is removed. The vehicle interior can hereby be soiled. |
