	Remove/install
	Risk of injury to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid	Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
		Before opening the hydraulic system the area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system.
1	Drain air conditioning system	Evacuate refill and check air conditioner for leaks and proper operation. Except engine 651	AR83.30-P-1760CW
2.1	Remove front engine cover and engine air intake ducts	Engine 273, 651
2.2	Remove engine trim panel	Engine 642 Ignition switched off.
3	Remove center front reinforcement (7)	See "Completely replace front end with reinforcement".	AR62.30-P-1570EW
4	Unclip air ducting (3) from cooler and fan unit
5	Detach refrigerant line (8) from condenser and place to one side	Install new seal
6	Remove bracket with DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89)	Vehicles with code (233) Distronic Plus
6		Do not detach DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) from bracket.	AR30.30-P-1010EW
7	Detach hydraulic lines from power steering cooler (2)	Collect escaping oil with rags and seal connections immediately.

9	Unclip transmission cooler (1) and power steering cooler (2) from condenser
10	Remove transmission cooler (1) and power steering radiator (2) together
11	Detach power steering radiator (2) from transmission cooler (1) by removing bolts (5)	Place the radiator assembly on a soft, clean surface (e.g. cardboard) so that the radiators are not damaged during disassembly.
12	Install in the reverse order
