	Remove/install
1	Remove ground line of battery.		AR54.10-P-0051S
2	Remove left and right charge air coolers.	Remove/install left water-cooled charge air cooler	AR09.41-P-6827SVZ
		Remove/install right water-cooled charge air cooler	AR09.41-P-6828SVZ
3	Remove low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir.		AR09.41-P-0001SVZ
4	Remove the throttle valve actuator.		AR07.51-P-1404SVZ
5	Remove purge valve.		AR47.30-P-8252SVZ
6	Remove purging pressure sensor with purge line.		AR47.30-P-8260SVZ
7	Remove left and right air pump switchover valves.	Mark installation position of vacuum hoses (2, 3, 4, 5).	AR14.30-P-7255SVZ
8	Remove boost pressure control pressure transducer.	Mark installation position of vacuum hoses (6, 7).	AR07.17-P-7004SVZ
9	Expose vacuum hoses (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) and place to one side.	: Observe the marking for the installation position.
10	Unscrew the bolts (8) and remove the bracket (9).	Screw/bolt, switchover valve bracket to carrier	*BA09.41-P-1008-01Q
11	Unscrew screws (10) and remove carrier (11).	Screw/bolt, carrier to charge air distributor	*BA09.41-P-1007-01Q
12	Unscrew screw (12) and remove ground lines.
13	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20).
14	Unscrew screws (13).	Screw/bolt, cable duct to charge air distributor	*BA15.18-P-1001-01D
15	Open upper sections (16.1, 16.2, 16.3) and remove.	The line duct (16) consists of the upper sections (16.1, 16.2, 16.3) and the lower section (16.4).
16	Expose engine wiring harness and remove lower section (16.4).	Mark installation position of engine wiring harness. : Observe the marking for the installation position.
17	Remove holders (21, 22).
18	Position air extraction system in working area and switch on.

19	Release fuel pressure via service connection.		AR07.03-P-1460-01SVZ

20	Remove fuel hose (23) from fuel line (26) and place to one side.	Plug openings. Union nut, fuel hose to fuel line	*BA07.03-P-1004-01G

21	Unscrew screws (24, 25).	Screw/bolt, clamp for fuel line to charge air distributor	*BA07.03-P-1002-01G
		Screw/bolt, clamp for fuel line to bracket	*BA07.03-P-1003-01G
22	Remove fuel line (26) from fuel distributor (1).	Plug openings. Union nut, fuel line to fuel distributor	*BA07.03-P-1001-01G

23	Unscrew screws (27) and remove left and right engine lifting lugs (28, 29).	Screw/bolt, engine suspension lug to cylinder head	*BA01.30-P-1006-01Z
24	Remove screws (30).	Screw/bolt, fuel distributor to charge air distributor	*BA07.52-P-1001-01I
25	Remove fuel distributor (1) together with injection valves.	Plug openings. : Replace O-rings. Apply lubricant paste O-rings. Antifriction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00	*BR00.45-Z-1002-06A

26	Remove injection valves from fuel distributor (1).	If fuel distributor (1) is replaced.	AR07.03-P-6520SVZ
	Check
27	Check fuel distributor (1) with injection valves for wear and damage.	If damage or wear is present, ↓ Replace corresponding component. Remove/install injection valves (ME)	AR07.03-P-6520SVZ
28	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
29	Read out and delete fault memory using diagnostic system.

	Risk of burn injuries , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. 	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 30	Perform engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
