	Remove
1	Remove front cap on left cylinder head.		AR01.30-P-5711SVZ
2	Position crankshaft at 30° after ignition TDC at cylinder 1.	Do not turn engine opposite to the direction of engine rotation. The timing chain can skip otherwise and engine damage can occur. Turn engine at crankshaft in direction of engine rotation until mark 30° CKA at belt pulley (1) matches with mark at timing case cover (arrow). Socket wrench bit	Fig 3
3	Remove the chain tensioner.		AR05.10-P-7800SVZ
4	Remove centrifuge (2).		AR01.20-P-2100SVZ
5	Unscrew bolts (5) and remove camshaft sprocket (4).	Place match marks on camshaft sprocket (4) and timing chain. Secure timing chain to prevent it from falling down.
6	Install holding device (6) at left cylinder head so that free of tension.	If holding device (6) cannot be positioned so that free of tension: ↓ Turn camshaft (3) to corresponding position. Retaining device	Fig 2

7	Unscrew screws (8) in accordance with specification and remove camshaft bearing caps (7).

8	Remove camshaft (3).
	Check
9	Check bearing points at camshaft (3) for wear and damage.
	General information on checking camshafts and bearing points of camshafts	If damage is present: ↓ replace camshaft (3).	AH05.20-P-1000-09SZ
	Install
10	Install camshaft (3) and wet cams and bearing points with engine oil.

11	Install camshaft bearing caps (7) and screw in screws (8) according to tightening procedure.

12	Set basic position of camshaft (3).		AR05.20-P-6020SVZ

14	Remove holding device (6).
15	Install centrifuge (2).		AR01.20-P-2100SVZ
16	Install the chain tensioner.		AR05.10-P-7800SVZ
17	Check basic position of camshaft (3).		AR05.20-P-6010SVZ
18	Install front cap on the left cylinder head.		AR01.30-P-5711SVZ
	Check
	Risk of burn injuries , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 19	Perform engine test run and check leak tightness of the engine.
