| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove electric air pump (M33) with bracket (1). | AR14.30-P-7251SVZ | |
| 2 | Place piston for cylinder 1 at a 30° CKA after TDC (for ignition). | Do not crank engine in the direction opposite to the direction of engine rotation. The timing chain can skip otherwise and engine damage can occur. |

| 4 | Pull compression spring (4) and filler pin (5) out of the chain tensioner housing (7). | ||
| 5 | Remove chain tensioner housing (7) from the timing case cover. | *BA05.10-P-1001-01T | |
| 6 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
