	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.		AR54.10-S-0003E
2.1	Remove center console.	Model 447 with code F1O (Center console with stowage compartment and cup holder, center design) or with code FF1 (Center console with stowage compartment) or with code FF2 (Center console with 1 device installation frame) or with code FG0 (Luxury center console with roller blind) or with code FG6 (Center console with refrigerator box), Model 448 with code FF1 (Center console with stowage compartment) or with code FG0 (Luxury center console with roller blind) or with code FG6 (Center console with refrigerator box) Model 447 with code F1O (Center console with stowage compartment and cup holder, center design)	AR68.20-S-2000EH
		Model 447, 448 with code FG0 (Luxury center console with roller blind)	AR68.20-S-2000EA

2.2	Remove trim from vertical strut.	Model 447.6/7 except code F1O (Center console with stowage compartment and cup holder med. version) except code FF1 (Centre console with stowage compartment) except code FF2 (Centre console with 1-DIN aperture) except code FG0 (Deluxe center console with roller shutter door)	AR68.00-S-1500E
3	Remove bracket (1).	For this purpose, remove nuts (2).
4	Remove hose (3) on right side of air conditioner box and swivel out of working area.	Ensure that hose (3) on air conditioner housing is seated correctly.
5.1	Loosen nuts (8, 9).	Model 447, 448 with code XM7 (Facelift II) Bolt/nut, airbag control unit to equipment carrier	*BA91.60-Z-1001-01KOG
5.2	Remove ground line (4).	Model 447, 448 except code XM7 (Facelift II) For this purpose, remove nut (5). Bolt/nut, airbag control unit to equipment carrier	*BA91.60-Z-1001-01KOG
6.1	Remove nut (10).	Model 447, 448 with code XM7 (Facelift II) Bolt/nut, airbag control unit to equipment carrier	*BA91.60-Z-1001-01KOG
6.2	Tighten screws (6).	Model 447, 448 except code XM7 (Facelift II) Bolt/nut, airbag control unit to equipment carrier	*BA91.60-Z-1001-01KOG
7	Remove supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit (N2/18).	To do so, release and disconnect electrical connectors (7). Ensure that electrical connectors (7) are correctly locked.
8	Install in the reverse order.
9	Commission Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control unit (N2/18).	When replacing Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control unit (N2/18).
		Then disconnect diagnostic device.	AD00.00-S-2000-04E
