Exterior lights (ABL), general
The exterior lights control all the safety and comfort-relevant functions of the front, side and rear lights of the vehicle.
When the transport mode is active, only the basic functions of the exterior lights can be used. Functions such as the LED Intelligent Light System or Adaptive Highbeam Assist with CODE LG2 (LED Intelligent Light System) are deactivated during transport mode. Detailed information on the operating state of the transport mode is given in the separate function description "Energy management, function".
A differentiation is made between the following front headlamp versions in accordance with the vehicle equipment:
- Halogen version front lamp units
- Front LED lamp units with CODE LG2 (LED Intelligent Light System)
