without code (414a) Electric glass sliding roof
without code (413) Panoramic sliding roof

2.1 Remove microphone wiring harness for sound system (2) in front area of old headliner (1) Only on vehicles with code (810) Sound system
IMPORTANT Observe routing of wiring harness! The microphone wiring harness for sound system (2) should be routed in the same manner on the new headliner (1) as on the old headliner (1).		  
3.1 Remove microphone array wiring harness (3) in front area of old headliner (1) Only on vehicles with
Code (380) Preinstallation for MB phone "cell phone", complete or
Code (381a) CP light telephone system or
Code (382a) MB cell phone telephone in armrest or
Code (383b) CP high telephone system or
Code (813) Voice control system (VCS)
IMPORTANT Observe routing of wiring harness! The microphone array wiring harness (3) should be routed in the same manner on the new headliner (1) as on the old headliner (1).		  
4 Remove overhead control panel control unit wiring harness (4) in front area of old headliner (1) IMPORTANT Observe routing of wiring harness! The overhead control panel control unit wiring harness (4) should be routed in the same manner on the new headliner (1) as on the old headliner (1).  
5 Remove rear dome lamp wiring harness (5) in front area of old headliner (1) IMPORTANT Observe routing of wiring harness! The rear dome lamp wiring harness (5) should be routed in the same manner on the new headliner (1) as on the old headliner (1).  
6.1 Remove left front vanity mirror illumination (E14/6) and right front vanity mirror illumination (E14/7) together with vanity mirror illumination wiring harness (6) from old headliner (1). Only on MODEL 211.0 with code (543) Sun visors with illuminated mirror or code (413) Panoramic sliding roof and on MODEL 211.2 with code (543) Sun visors with illuminated mirror
IMPORTANT Observe routing of wiring harness! The vanity mirror illumination wiring harness (6) should be routed in the same manner on the new headliner (1) as on the old headliner (1).		  
7.1 Remove left rear speaker (H4/7) and right rear speaker (H4/8) from old headliner (1). Only on MODEL 211.2 with code (810) Sound system AR82.62-P-7876T
8.1 Remove retaining frame (7) from old headliner (1). Only on MODEL 211.2 with code (810) Sound system  
9.1 Remove rear PTS warning display (A44/3) from old headliner (1). Only on vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS) AR54.65-P-0007T
  Preparation     
10 Lay new headliner (1) down on suitable clean subsurface with back upward.    
11.1 Prepare new headliner (1) for installing vanity mirror illumination. Only on MODEL 211.0 with code (543) Sun visors with illuminated mirror or code (413) Panoramic sliding roof and on MODEL 211.2 with code (543) Sun visors with illuminated mirror

12.1 Prepare new headliner (1) for installing rear PTS warning display (A44/3) Only on vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)

INSTALLING Installation     
14.1 Install vanity mirror illumination wiring harness (6) into new headliner (1). Only on Model 211.0 with code (543) Sun visors with illuminated mirror or code (413) Panoramic sliding roof and on Model 211.2 with code (543) Sun visors with illuminated mirror
IMPORTANT Always replace vanity mirror lamp wiring harness (6)
Pay attention to routing of cables.		 AR68.30-P-4305-05T 
    Tesa tape 4657, 50 mm *BR00.45-Z-1071-02A 
15 Install rear dome lamp wiring harness (5) into new headliner (1). IMPORTANT Always replace rear dome lamp wiring harness (5).
Pay attention to routing of cables.		 AR68.30-P-4305-04T 
    Tesa tape 4657, 50 mm *BR00.45-Z-1071-02A 
16 Install overhead control panel control unit wiring harness (4) into new headliner (1). IMPORTANT Always replace overhead control panel control unit wiring harness (4).
Pay attention to routing of cables.		 AR68.30-P-4305-01T 
    Tesa tape 4657, 50 mm *BR00.45-Z-1071-02A 
17.1 Install microphone array wiring harness (3) into new headliner (1). Only on vehicles with
Code (380) Preinstallation for MB phone "cell phone", complete or
Code (381a) CP light telephone system or Code (382a) MB portable cellular telephone in armrest or
Code (383b) CP high telephone system or
Code (813) Voice control system (VCS)

18.1 Install microphone wiring harness for sound system (2) into new headliner (1). Only on vehicles with code (810) Sound system
IMPORTANT Always replace sound system microphone wiring harness (2). Pay attention to routing of cables.		 AR68.30-P-4305-03T 
    Tesa tape 4657, 50 mm *BR00.45-Z-1071-02A 
19.1 Install rear PTS display wiring harness (9) into new headliner (1). Only on vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)
IMPORTANT Always replace rear PTS display wiring harness (9).
Pay attention to routing of cables.		 AR68.30-P-4305-06T 
    Tesa tape 4657, 50 mm *BR00.45-Z-1071-02A 
20.1 Install rear PTS warning display (A44/3) into new headliner (1). Only on vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS), see: ↓
Remove/install Parktronic system (PTS) warning indicator in rear passenger compartment		 AR54.65-P-0007T
21.1 Install left rear speaker (H4/7) and right rear speaker (H4/8) into new headliner (1). Only on Model 211.2 with code (810) Sound system, see: ↓
Remove/install speaker in headliner (1)		 AR82.62-P-7876T
22.1 Install speaker wiring harness (8) into new headliner (1). Only on Model 211.2 with code (810) Sound system
IMPORTANT Always replace speaker wiring harness (8).
