1	Operate parking brake
2	Remove edge guard (1) from left front door cutout
3	Remove paneling from left A-pillar		AR68.30-P-4050T
4	Remove grab handle from roof on left front		AR68.30-P-4330T
5	Remove edge guard (2) from left rear door cutout
6	Loosen paneling from left B-pillar	Do not remove belt end fitting.	AR68.30-P-4700T
7	Remove grab handle from left rear of roof		AR68.30-P-4330T
8	Loosen paneling from left C-pillar	Do not remove belt end fitting.	AR68.30-P-4490T
9	Remove edge guard (2) from right rear door cutout
10	Remove grab handle from right rear of roof		AR68.30-P-4330T
11	Loosen paneling from right C-pillar	Do not remove belt end fitting.	AR68.30-P-4490T
12	Remove edge guard (1) from right front door cutout
13	Remove grab handle from right front of roof		AR68.30-P-4330T
14	Remove paneling from right B-pillar		AR68.30-P-4700T
15	Remove paneling on right A-pillar		AR68.30-P-4050T
16	Move driver and passenger seats all the way toward rear and fold backrests downward
17	Remove overhead control panel control unit		AR82.20-P-1000T
18	Unscrew screws (8) and remove inside rearview mirror carrier (7) from headliner (6).
19	Remove left and right sun visors (9)
20	Remove left and right dome lamp in rear		AR82.20-P-0113TA
21	Remove left antenna amplifier module		AR82.62-P-8300T
22	Unscrew nuts (4) and loosen left paneling in rear (3) until electrical connectors (5) on wiring harness (10) are accessible.
23	Remove wiring harness (10) from body.
24	Disconnect electrical connectors (5) from wiring harness (10)	Number of electrical connectors (5) according to equipment.
25	Move shift lever or selector lever toward rear.	On vehicles with transmission 722.6 it is necessary to release the selector, see: ↓

26	Cover area of center console connection (A), area of right front door cutout (B) and area of B-pillar/headliner (D) with suitable means or mask
27	Unscrew screws (13) for headliner (6) from roof
28	Pull centering bolt (12) for headliner (6) out of roof and slide headliner (6) toward rear
29	Slightly lower headliner (6) and pull out of rear edge of roof toward front	Installation:  Move clip (11) into roof paneling. Ensure that headliner (6) is seated properly.
30	Lay headliner (6) down in vehicle
31	Move headliner (6) between driver's seat backrest and B-pillar, then between gearshift bracket and instrument panel center section connection.	Remove headliner (6) carefully because strong deformation can lead to damage. Aid of helper required.
32	Remove headliner (6) through passenger door and lay down on clean surface	Aid of helper required.
33.1	Prepare roof paneling (6) for installation	When replacing roof paneling (6).	AR68.30-P-4305T
34	Install in the reverse order
