| 6 | Unscrew nuts (2) | ||
| 7 | Remove splinter guard plate (5) with bracket (4), intermediate layer (3). | ||
| 8 | Remove wiper arms | ||
| 9 | Remove water collector | ||
| 10 | Unclip left and right drip rail and remove. | ||
| 11 | Disconnect heated windshield connector (X92/6) | On vehicles with code (597) Heated windshield | |
| 12 | Mask off left and right A-pillar and front edge of roof in connection area with adhesive tape | ||
| 13 | Cover area of water collector with suitable protective film | ||
