Prepare window for installation - AR67.10-P-1000-03TS

The adhesive areas on the windshield (1) must be absolutely free of dust and grease to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when installing the window.

1. Check windshield (1) for scratches and damage, replace if necessary.
2. Fold over protective foil on inside of windshield (1) in lower toward inside area approx. 5 cm above screen print and fix in place on protective foil with suitable adhesive tape (arrows).

   Do not glue adhesive tape to protective coating on inside of windshield, otherwise the protective coating can be damaged.

3. Clean windshield (1) in lower area.

4. Clean adhesive areas on windshield (1), allow to flash off and coat with activator.

   Observe flash-off time for activator.

5. Coat adhesive areas on windshield (1) with primer.

   Observe processing instructions for primer to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when installing the window.

6. Attach white adhesive tape (2) for support bead on windshield (1).
7. Hold electric lines for heated windshield connector in place on outside of windshield (1) with suitable adhesive tape.
