Body - Interior & Exterior: Interior: Headliner: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove sun visors and vanity mirrors.
Remove sun visor center supports.
Remove assist handles attaching screws and remove, if equipped.
Remove second row dome lamp and coat hook attaching screw and remove, if equipped.
Remove A-pillar trim. (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/A-PILLAR TRIM - REMOVAL) .
Remove B-pillar upper trim. (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM - REMOVAL) .
Remove liftgate header trim. (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/REAR HEADER TRIM - REMOVAL) .
Remove D-pillar trim. (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/D-PILLAR TRIM - REMOVAL) .
Remove C-pillar upper trim, as necessary. (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/C-PILLAR TRIM - REMOVAL)
Remove overhead console, if equipped. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/OVERHEAD CONSOLE - REMOVAL) .
Remove overhead DVD video screen, if equipped. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/VIDEO SCREEN - REMOVAL) .
Disconnect wire harness connectors at the left A-pillar. See Fig 1.
Disconnect wire harness connector and wire clips at the right A-pillar. See Fig 2.
Disconnect rear view mirror wire connector from mirror.
Disengage push in fasteners attaching headlining to roof panel. See Fig 3 and Fig 4.
Remove headlining from roof.
Remove headlining through liftgate opening.
