D-Pillar Trim: Removal
- Remove rear header trim cover. (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/REAR HEADER TRIM - REMOVAL) .
- Remove liftgate sill scuff plate. (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/LIFTGATE SILL SCUFF PLATE - REMOVAL) .
- Remove bolt attaching second row seat belt lower anchor to quarter trim panel (Refer to ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/SEAT BELT & RETRACTOR - REMOVAL) .
- Remove upper trim panel from liftgate, if equipped with power liftgate. See Fig 1. (Refer to BODY/LIFTGATE/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL) .
- Disconnect power liftgate link from ball head bracket, if equipped.
- Remove two screw attaching upper D-pillar. See Fig 2.
- Disengage locking tabs attaching trim to D-pillar.
- Remove D-pillar trim panel from D-pillar.
- Pass seat belt through slot in D-pillar trim panel.
- Remove D-pillar trim from vehicle.
- Remove attaching screw from D-pillar reinforcement molding and remove, if necessary. See Fig 3.
