Front Floor Console Replacement (Cadillac)

Preliminary Procedures Remove the 2 front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (without HP2) , Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (with HP2) . Remove the right and left front floor console side trim front panels. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Trim Front Panel Replacement - Left Side (Cadillac) , and Front Floor Console Side Trim Front Panel Replacement - Right Side (Cadillac) . Remove the front floor console bezel. Refer to Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Except Cadillac) , Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Cadillac) .
1	Front Floor Console Assembly Bolt/Screw CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Front Floor Console Assembly Disconnect the electrical connectors to the console assembly. With the aid of an assistant, remove the console from the vehicle. If replacing the console assembly, transfer all necessary components.

Remove the front floor console bezel. Refer to Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Except Cadillac) , Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Cadillac) .

Front Floor Console Assembly Bolt/Screw

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
2 N.m (18 lb in)

Front Floor Console Assembly

Disconnect the electrical connectors to the console assembly.
With the aid of an assistant, remove the console from the vehicle.
If replacing the console assembly, transfer all necessary components.
