- Use the special tool 2 472 903 or 5 A47 6E6 for unscrewing and tightening the spherical-collar screws.

- Release spherical-collar screws (1).
Turn the swivel bearing in and out to reach the spherical-collar screws (1).

Keep the connection between the wheel bearing and the swivel bearing clean and free of oil and grease.

- Remove and replace the wheel bearing (1).
- Parts: Wheel bearing
- Clean contact surfaces (2).
- Position wheel bearing on swivel bearing.
- Replace the spherical-collar screws (1).
Parts: Spherical-collar screw
- Tighten the spherical-collar screws (1) crosswise.
Turn the swivel bearing in and out to reach the spherical-collar screws (1).
