Attach the swivel bearing to the spring strut

- Align the gap on the swivel bearing (1) correctly to the positioning pin on the spring strut (2).
- Slide the swivel bearing (1) in the arrow direction onto the spring strut (2) all the way to the stop.
- Remove the special tool 2 414 636
.
- Position holder (3) on the swivel bearing.
- Replace screw (2) and nut (1).

- Insert screw (2) and guide on the nut (1).
- Tighten down screw (2).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Spring strut to swivel bearing M10
Replace screw and nut.
Tightening via screw.Tightening torque 60 Nm Angle of rotation 180° - Release the screw (1). In doing so, counter support at the nut (2).
- Replace screw (1) and nut (2).

The screw connection is tightened later in the normal position with the torque wrench. - Hand-tighten the screw (1) with the standard tool (2). In doing so, counter support at the nut (3).

NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the specified component(s) is/are installed. - Position the holder (1) of the attachment rod (2) for the ride height sensor on the wishbone (3) and lock it.
