Installing the swivel bearing

• Spread the swivel bearing (1) with the special tool 2 414 636  .
• Align the gap on the swivel bearing (1)  correctly to the positioning pin on the spring strut (2)  .
• Slide the swivel bearing (1)  in the arrow direction onto the spring strut (2)  all the way to the stop.
• Remove the special tool 2 414 636  .

• Position holder (3)  on the swivel bearing.
• Replace screw (2)  and nut (1)  .

  Parts:  Screw, nut

• Insert screw (2)  and guide on the nut (1)  .
• Tighten down screw (2)  .

• Refer to TIGHTENING THE SCREW CONNECTION OF THE WISHBONE ON THE FRONT SUBFRAME .

• Refer to PERFORM CHASSIS ALIGNMENT CHECK .
