Installing The Tailgate
CAUTION:
Shutting hood or trunk lid

- Support hood/trunk lid in fully open position with the aid of a suitable device.
NOTE:

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Position trunk lid on hinges on both sides.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Trunk lid to the hinge Hexagon screw M10 Tightening torque 56 Nm - Feed the wiring harness (3) into the tailgate and attach it to the attachment points (arrows).
- Install rubber grommet (2). While doing this, make sure that it is fitted correctly (watertightness).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Attach the wiring harness (2) at the attachment points (arrows).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Feed the wiring harness (3) into the tailgate and attach it to the attachment points (arrows).
- Install rubber grommet (2). Ensure correct installation. (watertightness).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Attach the wiring harness (3) at the attachment points (arrows).
- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
- Connect the connector for the buzzer (1) and lock it and install the buzzer (1).
