Install cover of the luggage compartment side shelf left and right
Precondition
Rear seat backrest is folded.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Installing the cover of the luggage compartment
Precondition
Rear seat backrest is folded.
Check
- Check the clip (1) at the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage, replace if necessary.
- Check clamps (2) on the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage and replace if necessary.
- Check the detents (3) at the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage.
Result
» Detents (3) are damaged.
Measure
- Replace cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.
Parts: Cover of the luggage compartment side shelf
- Fit and position the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.
- Clip in the cover of the luggage compartment trim panel using the detents (1) and the clip (2).
- Feed in the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf below the sealing lip of the tailgate seal.
- Clip the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf into the clamps (1) and the detent (2).

- Check the detents (3) at the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage.
Result
» Detents (3) are damaged.

- Replace cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.

- Fit and position the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.
- Clip in the cover of the luggage compartment trim panel using the detents (1) and the clip (2).
- Feed in the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf below the sealing lip of the tailgate seal.
- Clip the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf into the clamps (1) and the detent (2).
