Section 106 (Engine Air Cleaner & Drive Belts - Removal & Installation (644 Body))

- Engine Mechanical
- Air cleaner (ACL), replacing
- Checking the drive belt for auxiliary equipment
- Non turbo engine complete with transmission, removing
- Notes
- Draining coolant
- Remove covers from engine compartment:
- Remove engine splash guards front and rear
- Remove drive shafts, general
- MT: Remove left drive shaft
- Remove longitudinal beam
- MT: Remove right hand drive shaft from transmission
- AT: Remove left and right hand drive shafts
- MT: Disconnect (mechanical) speedometer cable
- Remove:
- Remove the down pipe
- Remove poly V-belt
- Remove airco compressor
- Remove connectors
- AT: Disconnect transmission oil pipes
- Drain fuel system
- Remove battery
- Remove air inlet hose
- Remove air cleaner (ACL)
- AT: Remove gear selector cable from transmission
- Remove throttle cable and connectors
- Remove fuel lines from engine
- Remove EVAP vacuum hose from inlet manifold
- MT: Remove clutch cylinder
- Removing electric cooling fan
- Remove heater hoses
- Remove engine coolant hoses
- Remove power steering pump from engine
- Remove cable harness
- Place hood in service position
- Removing engine complete with transmission
- Poly-V belt(mar), checking belt tension
- Poly-V belt(mar), replacing
- Poly V-belts, replacing
