Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CENTER CONSOLE SILENCER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

      1. Release the claws, and then remove the front door scuff plate RH.
        NOTE:

        Do not pull with excessive force. Claws of the front door scuff plate RH may be damaged.

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  7. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

  8. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE OUTSIDE RH

      1. Release the claws, and then remove the front door scuff plate outside RH.
        NOTE:

        Do not pull with excessive force. Claws of the front door scuff plate outside RH may be damaged.

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE OUTSIDE LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  13. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH 
    1. Pull the front pillar garnish RH towards the center of the vehicle.

      1. Release the hook at the end of the front pillar garnish clip, and remove the front pillar garnish RH.
        NOTE:
        • Do not use any tool when releasing the hook at the end of the front pillar garnish RH.
        • Be careful not to damage the front pillar garnish RH surface and curtain airbag module.
  14. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 
    1. Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.
  16. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  17. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH

  18. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  19. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Tilt the front seat backrest assembly forward, and move the front seat all the way forward.

  20. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  21. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM LID SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    NOTE:

    When removing the quarter trim lid sub-assembly RH, do not remove the part by holding the area (a). There is a possibility of the clip seat area coming off.

      1. Release the claws.

      1. Disconnect the claws, and then remove the tether clips and quarter trim lid sub-assembly RH as a unit.
  22. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM LID SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  23. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH RH

  24. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  25. REMOVE REAR QUARTER TRIM GARNISH FRONT RH

  26. REMOVE REAR QUARTER TRIM GARNISH FRONT LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  27. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  28. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  29. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH

  30. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  31. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

    2. w/ Vanity Mirror Light:
      1. Disconnect the connector.
  32. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
  33. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Push both sides using a flat tip screwdriver, etc. wrapped with protection tape.
      2. Remove the visor holder by pulling it in the arrow direction.
      3. Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
  34. REMOVE NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/o EyeSight) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  35. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o EyeSight) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  36. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ EyeSight) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  37. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the harness clips of the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly and the No. 1 roof wire, and disconnect the connectors.

      1. Remove the clips.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the front passenger door as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.
