Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

      *a HOOK - -
      1. Remove the 2 bolts.
      2. Remove the hook (a) by pushing it back while lifting the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly.
      3. Disconnect each connector.
      4. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
        NOTE:

        Be careful not to damage the vehicle when taking out the seat from the vehicle.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CENTER CONSOLE SILENCER

  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the 2 bolts and remove the rear seatback assembly.
        NOTE:

        Be careful not to damage the vehicle when taking out the seat from the vehicle.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  7. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  13. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  15. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  16. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  17. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
