Disassembly [11/2020 - 12/2023]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Memory) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2021 - 12/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2022 - 12/2023]

  2. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2021 - 12/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2022 - 12/2023]

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2020 - ] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2020 - ] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2020 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2020 - ] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2020 - ] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2020 - ]

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT FRONT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Place Hands Here Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2) - -
      1. Remove the clip.
      2. Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (1) to detach the guide.
      3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

      4. Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (1) to detach the guide and remove the front seat front cushion shield LH.
  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for 8 Way Seat Type)

      Place Hands Here Remove in this Direction (1)

      1. Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and guide.
      2. Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (1) to detach the claw.
      3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

      4. Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (3) to detach the guide.
      5. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield LH.
  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for 4 Way Seat Type)

      Place Hands Here Remove in this Direction (1)

      1. Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and guide.
      2. Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (1) to detach the claw.
      3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

      4. Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (3) to detach the guide.
      5. Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp to remove the front seat cushion shield RH.
  8. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
  9. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.
  10. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for 8 Way Seat Type)

      Remove in this Direction Open in this Direction
      1. Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and guide.
      2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

      3. Open the front inner seat cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration and using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

  11. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for 4 Way Seat Type)

      Place Hands Here Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2) - -
      1. Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and guide.
      2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

      3. Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (2) to detach the claw and remove the front inner seat cushion shield RH.
  12. REMOVE NO. 2 LOWER SEAT TRACK SPACER (for 8 Way Seat Type)

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 LOWER SEAT TRACK SPACER (for 4 Way Seat Type) 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 lower seat track spacer.
  14. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH (for 8 Way Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2021 - 12/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [12/2022 - 12/2023]

  15. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (for 4 Way Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - 12/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [12/2022 - 12/2023]

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

      *A w/ Foot light - -
      Fastener - -
      1. Disconnect the band from the hook.
      2. w/ Foot light:

        1. Detach the fastener.

        2. Disconnect the connector.

        3. Detach the clamp.

      1. Detach the claw and clamp.
      2. Disconnect the conector and detach the clamp.
      3. Detach the hook.
      4. Remove the 4 bolts.
      5. Using a screwdriver, detach the guide and remove the front seatback assembly LH.

        HINT: 

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION BRACKET LH (w/ Foot light)

  18. REMOVE NO. 3 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Foot light)

      1. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the No. 3 interior illumination light assembly.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      1. Detach the hook.
      2. Pull out the fastener as shown in the illustration.
      3. Open the 2 fasteners.
      4. Detach the clamp.
      5. Detach the claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    NOTE:

    Be careful not to dirty or damage the separate type front seatback cover LH and the separate type front seatback pad LH.

      1. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the separate type front seatback cover LH from the separate type front seatback pad LH as shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

      1. Place a matchmark on the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

      *a Terminal of the Slide Motor - -
      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. w/ Memory:

        1. Connect the No. 4 terminal of the slide motor to the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal, and the No. 1 terminal to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and then move the front seat adjuster assembly LH to the frontmost position.

        NOTE:

        After performing this procedure, initialize the seat ECU (position control ECU assembly).

      2. w/o Memory:

        1. Connect the No. 2 terminal of the slide motor to the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal, and the No. 1 terminal to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and then move the front seat adjuster assembly LH to the frontmost position.

      3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the upper seat track rail cover.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

  50. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER

    		 HINT: 
    Use the same procedure for the other side.

      *a Terminal of the Slide Motor - -
      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. w/ Memory:

        1. Connect the No. 1 terminal of the slide motor to the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal, and the No. 4 terminal to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and then move the front seat adjuster assembly LH to the rearmost position.

        NOTE:

        After performing this procedure, initialize the seat ECU (position control ECU assembly).

      2. w/o Memory:

        1. Connect the No. 1 terminal of the slide motor to the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal, and the No. 2 terminal to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and then move the front seat adjuster assembly LH to the rearmost position.

      3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the rear upper seat track cover.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

  51. REMOVE POWER SEAT LIFTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (for 8 Way Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [11/2021 - 12/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [12/2022 - 12/2023]

  52. REMOVE POWER SEAT TILT MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (for 8 Way Seat Type)
