Removal [08/2019 - ]: Procedure
- TABLE OF BOLT, SCREW AND NUT
HINT:
All bolts, screws and nuts relevant to installing and removing the instrument panel are shown along with their alphabet codes in the table below.
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- w/ Mayday System:
- Slide the slider and disconnect the 2 airbag connectors.
*1 Slider - for Front Pillar RH Side:
- Detach the wire harness clamps and disconnect the connectors.
- Remove the 2 passenger airbag bolts <F>.
- Remove the 3 bolts <C> and 2 nuts <E>.
- Detach the 5 claws and remove the instrument panel sub-assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CLIP
- REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
- REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
- Remove the 2 screws <G> or <H>.
- Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.
- REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
- Remove the 2 screws <G> or <H>.
- Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.
- REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 screws <G> or <H> and the defroster nozzle assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 screws <G> or <H> and the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 screws <G> or <H> and the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.
- REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/o Mayday System)

- REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Mayday System)

- Remove the 2 screws <G> or <H> and 2 No. 1 instrument panel pins.
