| 16 | Unscrew connecting rod bolts (3), remove connecting rod bearing cap (1) from connecting rod (2) and remove lower connecting rod bearing shell | ||
| 17 | Remove piston (4) with connecting rod (2) upward from cylinder crankcase and remove upper connecting rod bearing shell | ||
| 18 | Mark piston (4) and connecting rod (2) in relation to one another | ||
| 19 | Clamp connecting rod (2) into vise | ||
| 20 | Remove circlip (5) | ||
| 21 | Press piston pin (6) out of piston (4) and remove piston (4) from connecting rod (2) | ||
| 22 | Remove connecting rod (2) from vise | ||

| 23 | Clean cylinder bores, connecting rod journal on crankshaft, piston (4), upper and lower connecting rod bearing shells, connecting rods (2) and connecting rod bearing cap (1) | ||
