Remove/install bottom part of oil pan - AR01.45-P-7555CD

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform enable for the high voltage on-board electrical system ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212.098/298  
      AR54.10-P-1150EH
2 Detach high voltage plug (10) from electrical A/C compressor (A9/5) ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212.098/298  
3 Remove screw/bolt (11) and remove bracket (12) for high-voltage line (13) from electrical A/C compressor (A9/5) ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212.098/298  
4 Secure vehicle on vehicle lift ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172 AR00.60-P-0100T
    ENGINE 651 in MODEL 204 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722 (except 722.96)
ENGINE 651 in MODEL 207 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722
AR00.60-P-0100CW
    ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722 (except 722.96)

5 Remove bottom sections of soundproofing ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172 AR94.30-P-5300W
    All except model 172 AR94.30-P-5300EW
6 Open cable tie (arrow) and remove high-voltage line (13) from engine charge air duct (14) ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212.098/298
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace cable ties (arrow).
 
7 Remove screw/bolts (15), remove cable duct (16) from engine and lay high-voltage line (13) with cable duct (16) outside the working area ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212.098/298
NOTES Lay high-voltage line (13) completely outside the working area.
The high-voltage line (13) will be damaged otherwise.
 
8 Drain/collect engine oil INSTALLATION NOTES
Replace seal for oil drain screw.
Leaks can occur otherwise.
 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Drain screw to oil pan *BA01.45-P-1003-01S 
9 Detach bracket (7, 8) for high-pressure line (9) ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172  
10.1 Lower front axle Model 204, 207, 212, 218  
ENGINE 651 in MODEL 204 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722 (except 722.96) ENGINE 651 in MODEL 207 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722 AR33.10-P-0100CW
    ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722 (except 722.96) ENGINE 651 in MODEL 218 with TRANSMISSION 722 AR33.10-P-0100EW
10.2 Unfasten engine on front axle and raise using the engine hoist ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172  
    ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172 AR22.10-P-1260SLK
11 Remove oil dipstick guide tube ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172, 207 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722
ENGINE 651 in MODEL 204, 212 with TRANSMISSION 711, 722 (except 722.96) ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212 (except 212.098/298) with TRANSMISSION 724.2

12 Disconnect Electrical connection at oil level check switch (S43)    
13 Remove bolts (4) on the oil pan TORQUE SPECIFICATION
ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172, 207 with
TRANSMISSION 711, 722
ENGINE 651 in MODEL 204, 212 with
TRANSMISSION 711, 722 (except 722.96)
ENGINE 651 in MODEL 212 with
TRANSMISSION 724.2
ENGINE 651 in MODEL 218 with TRANSMISSION 722

14 Remove oil pan with oil pan gasket (5) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Clean sealing surfaces. Push oil pan gasket (5) over the collar of the bolts (4) and press into the slot (6) around the whole circumference.  
15 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
16 Check engine oil level, correct if necessary NOTES
The engine oil level must lie between "Min" and "Max".
Engine damage can occur otherwise.
 
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
17 Carry out engine test run and check engine for leaktightness in the area of the oil pan
