Remove, install rear panoramic roof cover - AR77.21-P-0751EW

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.		 AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
1 Prepare adhesive cartridge IMPORTANT Heat up adhesive cartridge for at least 20 min.
Cartridge heater		  
Repair kit, installing window, 1-component adhesive, replaced by: A 221 670 81 01 *BR00.45-Z-1089-02A 
2.1 Remove multifunction antenna (A28/11) or multifunction antenna mockup (4) Model 204.3, 207.3 AR82.70-P-8951EC
Model 212.0 up to model year 2011 AR82.70-P-8951EW
2.2 Remove multifunction antenna (A28/11) Model 212.0 as of model year 2011
with code (228) Stationary heater
with code (359) TELE AID emergency call system
with code (386) Comfort telephony
with code (511) Audio 55 APS radio,

2.3 Remove cover for antenna and antenna mock-up Model 212.0 as of model year 2011 AR82.70-P-8952EW
3 Mark cutting edge along broken line IMPORTANT The dimension (a) is 10 mm from the outer edge of the panoramic roof cover (1) Two adhesive beads (7) are located in the cross-hatched areas (b).  
4 Press out reinforcement (5) on multifunction antenna (A28/11) or multifunction antenna mockup (4) downward    
5 Mask inside of hole in body resulting from removal of multifunction antenna (A28/11) or multifunction antenna mockup (4) with adhesive tape (9). IMPORTANT This is intended to prevent metal shavings from falling down into the interior compartment.  
6 Cover rear window (2) and rear glass roof (3) over full surface NOTES Ensure that the rear window (2) and the rear glass roof (3) are not damaged by metal shavings.  
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by slipping when clamping blade in the multicutter and by splinters when cutting out bonded windows Wear protective gloves and safety glasses. AS65.00-Z-0003-01A
7 Cut panoramic roof (1) along marked cutting edge IMPORTANT Use FSC 1.6 window removal tool in combination with circular sawing blade.
Window glazing device, FSC 1.6		  
8 Bend open panoramic roof cover (1) toward rear with pliers until adhesive bead (7) is accessible.    
9 Cut adhesive beads (7) with scraper or knife and remove panoramic roof cover (1)    
INSTALLING Install     
10 Thoroughly remove metal shavings. NOTES Remove entire metal shavings to prevent corrosion
Wet/dry vacuum cleaner		  
11 Fold back seal (6) in area of panoramic roof cover (1) and fix in place with adhesive tape.    
12 Prepare panoramic roof cover (1) for installation   AR77.21-P-0751-01EW 
Repair kit, installing window, 1-component adhesive, replaced by: A 221 670 81 01 *BR00.45-Z-1089-02A 
13 Prepare body flange (8) for panoramic roof cover (1) for installation   AR77.21-P-0751-02EW 
Wet/dry vacuum cleaner  
Repair kit, installing window, 1-component adhesive, replaced by: A 221 670 81 01 *BR00.45-Z-1089-02A 
14 Apply adhesive material for panoramic roof cover (1)   AR77.21-P-0751-03EW 
Pressofix cartridge gun  
Repair kit, installing window, 1-component adhesive, replaced by: A 221 670 81 01 *BR00.45-Z-1089-02A 
15 Remove panoramic roof cover (1)   AR77.21-P-0751-04EW 
16 Install reinforcement (5) on multifunction antenna (A28/11) or multifunction antenna mockup (4) IMPORTANT Install reinforcement (5) only after adhesive has completely cured  
17.1 Install multifunction antenna A28/11) or multifunction antenna mockup (4) Model 204.3, 207.3 AR82.70-P-8951EC

17.2 Install multi-function antenna Model 212.0 as of model year 2011
