	Remove/install
1	Unclip headliner cover (2) and remove	On vehicles with code (220) PARKTRONIC or with code (230) Exclusive parking assist, disconnect electrical connector on rear PARKTRONIC warning indicator.
2	Remove left C-pillar paneling (4) and open left cable duct (6) on top of C-pillar	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11) in vehicles with code (228) Stationary heater or With code (386) Comfort telephony or With code (359) TELE AID emergency call system or With code (536) SIRIUS satellite radio or With code (537) Digital radio Place left C-pillar paneling (4) to one side with belt end fitting attached. Do not open the lower shackle of the left cable duct (6). The antenna lines must be led in upward direction out of the left cable duct (6).	AR68.30-P-4490EW
3	Remove right C-pillar paneling (3) and open right cable duct (5) of top of C-pillar	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11) in vehicles with code (511) Audio 50 APS with DVD changer or With code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer or with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio or With code (527) COMAND APS with Single DVD disk drive (with navigation)	AR68.30-P-4490EW
		Place right C-pillar paneling (3) to one side with belt end fitting attached.
4	Detach right edge guard (7) or left edge guard (10) in area of right rear side trim panel (8) or left rear side trim panel (9)	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11). Depending on vehicle equipment
5	Detach right rear side trim panel (8) or left rear side trim panel (9) from upper three retaining clamps	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11). Depending on vehicle equipment
6	Remove cable tie (12) or felt tape (13) and unclip clips (11) of headliner in rear section	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11). Depending on vehicle equipment
7	Push right rear side trim panel (8) aside, push back foam covers and disconnect electrical multifunction antenna connector (A28/11x1)	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11) in vehicles with code (511) Audio 50 APS with DVD changer or With code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer or with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio or With code (527) COMAND APS with Single DVD disk drive (with navigation)
8	Push left rear side trim panel (9) aside, push back foam covers and disconnect electrical multifunction antenna connector (A28/11x2) or electrical multifunction antenna connector (A28/11x3)	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11) in vehicles with code (228) Stationary heater or With code (386) Comfort telephony or With code (359) TELE AID emergency call system or With code (536) SIRIUS satellite radio or With code (537) Digital radio
9	Expose wiring harnesses of multifunction antenna (A28/11)	When removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11).
10	Remove screw/bolt (14) and lead multifunction antenna (A28/11) with the wiring harnesses or multifunction antenna mock-ups (1) upwards and out		*BA82.62-P-1001-01D
11	Install in the reverse order
