Retrofit daytime running lights - AZ82.10-P-0020EW

REMOVING Remove     
1.1 Remove lower engine compartment paneling MODEL 212.0 (except 212.074/077), 212.2 (except 212.274/277) with ENGINE 156, 157, 271, 272, 273, 274, 276, 278, MODEL 212.1 with ENGINE 271, 272, 274, 276  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   AR61.20-P-1105EW
1.2 Remove bottom section of soundproofing MODEL 212.0 (except 212.074/077), 212.2 (except 212.274/277) with ENGINE 642, 651  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   AR94.30-P-5300EW
2.1 Remove left daytime running lights headlamp (E1/3) and right daytime running lights headlamp In vehicles without code (498) Japan version

IMPORTANT The left daytime running lights headlamp (E1/3) and the right daytime running lights headlamp are no longer required.		 AR82.10-P-2300EW
2.2 Remove left front fog lamp and right front fog lamp On vehicles with code (498) Japan version
IMPORTANT The left front fog lamp and the right front fog lamp are no longer required.		  
3 Remove LED daytime running lights (1) cover or front fog lamp cover    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR MODEL 212 (except 212.074/077/274/277) up to model year 2014
IMPORTANT Do not remove front bumper (2).
The LED daytime running lights (1) covers are no longer required.		 AR88.20-P-2050EW
4 Remove front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module and place to one side with electrical lines connected    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR Only in vehicles with code (498) Japan version AR54.21-P-1260CW
INSTALLING Install     
5 Install left and right LED daytime running lights (1) cover    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR MODEL 212 (except 212.074/077/274/277) up to model year 2014 AR88.20-P-2050EW
6 Retrofit left daytime running lights headlamp (E1/3) and right daytime running lights headlamp In vehicles without code (498) Japan version AZ82.10-P-0020-01EW 
On vehicles up to 31.05.10 with code (498) Japan version AZ82.10-P-0020-01EWA

IMPORTANTEnter:  Register daytime running lights by entering the 3-digit code "68o" in the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module. Ensure here that the third digit is the letter "o" for Oscar.
IMPORTANTDelete:  Delete the 3-digit code "K22".		  
11 Document retrofitted equipment through VeDoc IMPORTANT Attach "Straight design daytime running lights as per AZ82.10-P-0020EW " note under field organization texts to design group 82.  
12 Connect Star Diagnosis and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)    
13 Carry out variant coding with the Diagnosis Assistance System by means of Software Calibration Number (SCN) Variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN) must be carried out for the following control unit: ↓  
Front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module AZ00.01-P-1001-02A
14 Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS    
15 Carry out daytime running lights function check
