Loosening Main Wire Harness In Engine Compartment At The Right

Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche .
The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed .
Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts .

Release and unplug electric plug connection for wire harness for bonnet -18- . Release connector from clip.
Release and unplug electric plug connection on sensor for body -3- . → REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT LEFT BODY ACCELERATION SENSOR - section on "Removing"
Release and unplug electric plug connection for spring strut -7- .
Release and unplug electric plug connection for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) transmitter -8- . → REMOVING CONTROL UNIT FOR TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING (TPM) - section on "Removing"

Screw off fastening nut on ground point -12- under the hydraulic unit.
Screw off fastening nut on ground point -14- on wheel housing (behind headlight).

Loosen fastenings -1- for wiring for level sensor.
Loosen fastenings -2- for main wire harness in engine compartment.
Pull wiring for TPM sensor -3- through from the wheel housing to the engine compartment.
Pull rubber sleeve -4- in cross panel out of the body.
Loosen fastening -5- for connector for wire harness for bonnet.
Loosen fastenings -6- for main wire harness in plenum panel.
