Information
- Check O-rings on the plug-in couplings and replace them if necessary.
- Clean plug connection and coolant hoses before assembly.
- Coat O-rings and coolant hoses with Kluber Plus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).
- Remove stoppers before fitting the coolant lines and hoses.
- Fit rear wheels. Socket-wrench insert 300 should be used.
- Secure the drive shafts on the transmission flange. Get another person to counter at the rear wheels.
- Fit oxygen sensor plug connections at the left and right in the engine compartment, route the lines and secure them at the retaining points.

- Fill in coolant.

- 4.1. Check all connections on the cooling system that were opened during removal for leaks.
- Install side retaining frame (heat protection) for the rear apron.

- Install rear apron.
- Connect the battery.

- Only for vehicles with PDCC:
Fill in Pentosin at the hydraulic reservoir, check the fluid level and top up if necessary.

Information
- Only for vehicles with PDCC: After installing a replacement engine, pressure must be applied to the PDCC pump via the reservoir.
- Only for vehicles with PDCC: Apply pressure to the pump via the reservoir.
- Install air cleaner housing.
- Install rear spoiler.
- Fit engine-compartment blower.
- Install air guide.
- Fit all covers.
- Check engine-oil level and top up with new engine oil if necessary.
- Bleed the cooling system according to specifications using PIWIS Tester II 9818 .
- On Cabriolet vehicles: Install support plate.
- Install underbody cover.
- Remove protective covers.
