Rear Seat Armrest Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the front seats. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back cushion finish panel. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  5. Remove the head restraint guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement .
  6. Remove the inflatable restraint front seat side module. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
  7. Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
  8. Remove the seat back side outer cover.
  9. Remove the seat back side inner cover.
  10. Remove the seat back blower assembly. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Ventilation Heating and Cooling Blower Replacement .
  11. Remove the lumbar assembly. Refer to Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement (w/AL2) or Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement (w/AM3) .
1 Front Seat Back Cushion Frame Bolts (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  45 N.m (33 lb ft)
