Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement (w/AM3)

Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the front seats. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
1 Lumbar Assembly, Front Seat Massaging
Tip: 
  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  2. Pull outward at the bottom of the seat to release the retainers.
  3. Pull the bottom of the lumbar forward and up until the lumbar support wires disengage from the seat back frame.
