1.1	Remove exhaust system.	Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 656 Model 223 with engine 176, 256	AR49.10-P-7142S
		Model 223 with engine 656	AR49.10-P-7142SB
1.2	Remove left rear muffler.	Model 223 with engine 279 When removing left elastomer bearing (3).	AR49.10-P-4824SVZ
1.3	Remove right rear muffler.	Model 223 with engine 279 When removing right elastomer bearing (3).	AR49.10-P-4825SVZ
2	Remove left and right spring link.	Model 223 with engine 279 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)	AR35.20-P-0119SG
		Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 656	AR35.20-P-0119S
3	Position extraction and insertion tool (1), as shown, onto rear axle carrier (2) and elastomer bearing (3).	Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 656 Model 223 with engine 279 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) From extraction and insertion tool (1), counterholder (293 589 00 43 01), thrust piece (293 589 00 43 02), nut (293 589 00 43 05) and spindle (293 589 00 43 06) are required. Model 223 with engine 279 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) From extraction and insertion tool (1), counterholder (223 589 05 43 01), thrust piece (223 589 05 43 03), nut (223 589 05 43 05) and spindle (223 589 05 43 06) are required. 4	Press elastomer bearing (3) out of rear axle carrier (2).
	Install
5	Clean bearing seat in rear axle carrier (2).
6	Coat new elastomer bearing (3) with insertion agent.	Mobil Vacuoline 137 insertion agent, 0.5 L	*BR00.45-Z-1097-06A
7	Position extraction and insertion tool (1) with new elastomer bearing (3) onto rear axle carrier (2), as shown.	Model 223 with engine 279 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) From extraction and insertion tool (1), counterholder (223 589 05 43 02), thrust piece (223 589 05 43 04), nut (223 589 05 43 05)
		and spindle (223 589 05 43 06) are required. Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 656 Model 223 with engine 279 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) From extraction and insertion tool (1), counterholder (293 589 00 43 04), thrust piece (293 589 00 43 03), nut (293 589 00 43 05) and spindle (293 589 00 43 06) are required. 8	Pull new elastomer bearing (3) into rear axle carrier (2).	Pull-in elastomer bearing (3) far enough until protrusion on rear axle carrier (2) is equal on both sides. The elastomer bearing (3) must be seated centrally in the rear axle carrier (2).
9	Remove extraction and insertion tool (1).
10	Install spring link.	Model 223 with engine 279 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)	AR35.20-P-0119SG

11.1	Install exhaust system.	Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 656 Model 223 with engine 176, 256	AR49.10-P-7142S
