	Remove/install
1	Remove corresponding rear wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
2	Reduce pneumatic pressure of suspension struts using diagnostic system.
		The complete wheels must not touch the ground. Otherwise the suspension struts may suffer initial damage and malfunction at a later stage.	AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
3	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
4	Remove cover from spring link (1).
5	Remove nut (2) and pull screw out of spring link (1).	: Replace screw and accompanying nut (2) Nut suspension strut at rear to spring control arm	*BA32.25-P-1005-04O
6	Remove nut and pull screw (3) of spring link (1) out of rear axle carrier (4).	: Replace screw (3) and associated nut.

7	Remove nut (5) and pull screw out of wheel carrier (6).	: Replace screw (5) and related nut. Screw, Spring control arm to wheel carrier	*BA35.20-P-1001-01J
8	Remove spring link (1).
	Check
9	Check spring link (1) for condition and damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ replace spring link (1).
10	Check condition of elastomer bearing in rear axle carrier (4) and check for damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ Replace elastomer bearing.	AR35.20-P-3405S
11	Check condition of elastomer bearing in wheel carrier (6) and check for damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ Replace elastomer bearing. Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 656 with code 201 (Rear axle steering) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 656 with code 216 (Rear axle steering with large angle) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)	AR35.20-P-3401S
12	Install in the reverse order.
	Measure
