	Remove/install
1	Remove left or right rear axle spring.		AR32.20-P-0232SG
2	Unhook left or right rear muffler from rubber holders and lower with major assembly mount until screw (2) is accessible.

	000 588 23 62 00 Mounting plate		WS26.00-P-0415B
3	Remove nut (3) and pull screw (2) of spring link (1) out of rear axle carrier	: Replace screw (2) and nut (3). Model 223 1 with engine 279 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Screw, Spring control arm to rear axle carrier	*BA35.20-P-1003-01J
4	Remove spring link (1).
	Check
5	Check spring link (1) for condition and damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ replace spring link (1).
6	Check that elastomer bearing in rear axle carrier is in good condition and not damaged.	If there is a problem, ↓ Replace elastomer bearing.	AR35.20-P-3405S
7	Check elastomer bearing in wheel carrier for condition and damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ replace wheel carrier.	AR35.20-P-0115S
8	Install in the reverse order.
	Measure
9	Perform wheel alignment measurement.		AR40.20-P-0200S
