	Remove
1	Supplement special equipment in Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc).	Designation of affected special equipment: Code JH3 (Communication module (LTE) for digital services) and code EY5 (Mercedes-Benz emergency call system) and code EY6 (Breakdown Management). Remove existing code JH6 (Pre-installation for Com. Module for Dig. Services (LTE)). Correct selection of the separate parts during the parts process is only possible after the special equipment has been added in VeDoc.
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3.1	Remove front dome lamp.	MODEL 447.6/7 except CODE LC4 (Comfort overhead control panel) except CODE LD0 (Overhead control panel with two reading spots)
		Hand over removed front dome lamp to customer or dispose of properly after consultation with customer.	AR82.20-S-0110E
3.2	Remove front overhead control panel (OCP) control unit (N70).	Model 447.6/7 with code LC4 (Comfort overhead control panel), model 447.6/7 with code LD0 (Overhead control panel with two reading spots), model 447.8
		Hand over removed front overhead control panel (OCP) control unit (N70) to customer or dispose of properly after consultation with customer.	AR82.20-S-1100E
	Install
4	Retrofit telematics services communications module control unit with holder (1).	The telematics services communications module control unit is integrated in the HERMES control unit (N112/9). The HERMES control unit (N112/9) and the holder (1) are to be determined through the parts process, taking the respective special equipment of the vehicle into account.	AN82.85-S-0016-01E
5	Install new overhead control panel (OCP) control unit (N70).
		The new overhead control panel (OCP) control unit (N70) must be determined through the parts process taking the respective special equipment of the vehicle into account.	AR82.20-S-1100E
6	Connect vehicle diagnosis system and read out fault memory.

7	Perform SCN coding on instrument cluster (IC) control unit (A1/1).

8	Perform SCN coding on radio (Audio) (N87/2) or on radio/radio navigation (N87/15) or on head unit (A26/17).

10	Run SCN coding on air conditioning system control and operating unit (KLA-V & KLA-H) (S98).
		Model 447 with code HH4 (THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control), model 447 with code HH9 (TEMPMATIC semi-automatically controlled air conditioning system) Under the "Control unit adaptations" menu item follow the instructions for "SCN coding". 11	Perform SCN coding on powertrain control unit

12	Perform SCN coding on Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control unit (N2/18).	Model 447 except code S00 (Airbag control unit generation AB12)
		The operation steps must be performed exactly as per XENTRY Diagnosis Software. 13	Perform commissioning of HERMES control unit (N112/9) using vehicle diagnosis system.

14	Perform function test on telematics services communications module control unit using diagnostic system.	To do so, select following menu items: HERMES control unit (N112/9) → Actuations → Selftest
15	Disconnect vehicle diagnosis system.
