	Check
1	Check whether vehicle is affected by measure.	For authorized Mercedes-Benz service partners, only the entry in the "Extended VEGA Application" (EVA) system, in the "Current" tab is decisive. There is no need to also check the affected vehicles in the workshop information system (WIS) or vehicle list.
	Replace
2	Replace steering wheel (1).
		Dispose of removed steering wheel (1) and center bolt (2) properly. For this, observe the applicable legal requirements and specifications of the relevant country. Center bolt (2) must be replaced.	AR46.10-S-0100E
3	Connect charging equipment.
		During the entire work procedure a sufficiently large voltage supply must be provided for the vehicle's on-board electrical system. Otherwise any undervoltage that occurs may damage the control units. Use the charger to ensure that an adequate power supply (min. 12.5 V) is provided for the on-board electrical system battery. If charger is already connected to vehicle, ↓ continue with operation step 4.	AR54.10-S-1127E
4	Connect diagnostic unit.
		Use the most up-to-date XENTRY Diagnosis COM Kit version with all associated add-ons. The operation steps must be performed exactly as per XENTRY Diagnostics.	AD00.00-S-2000-04E
5	Perform commissioning of instrument cluster (IC) control unit (A1/1) using XENTRY Diagnosis COM Kit.	To do this, select the following menu items: Control units view → A1/1 - Instrument cluster (IC) → Adaptations → Commissioning → Control unit replacement with commissioning of new control unit
6	Replace instrument cluster (IC) control unit (A1/1).
		Model 447.6/7 except code XM7 (Facelift II) The adjusting shaft (5) extension is retrofitted. To plug the adjusting shaft extension (5) onto the instrument lighting adjusting shaft (6), the cover cap (3) must be removed from the trim (4) beforehand.	AR54.30-S-6015EE
7	Perform SCN coding of electronic ignition lock (EZS) control unit (N73) using XENTRY Diagnosis COM Kit.
		To do this, select the following menu items: Control units view → N73 - Electronic ignition lock (EZS) → Adaptations → Control units update → Update of SCN coding	AR54.21-S-0015E
8	Disconnect diagnostic unit.
9	Disconnect charger.

10	Perform function test on instrument cluster (IC) control unit (A1/1) and steering wheel (1).
