	Remove/install
1	Remove sun visors.		AR68.60-P-5480MFA
2	Remove overhead control panel control unit (N70).		AR82.20-P-1000MFA
3	Release and disconnect the electrical connector (3) above the overhead control panel control unit (N70).
4	Remove cover from inside rearview mirror (A67).		AR68.40-P-0001MFA
5	Remove trim from A-pillars.		AR68.30-P-4050MFA
6	Remove top B-pillar trims.		AR68.30-P-4705MFA
7	Remove trim from C-pillars.		AR68.30-P-4490MFV
8	Remove edge guard in the working area from the door cutouts.
9	Remove grab handles from roof.	Model 118.3, 177.1/9 except code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)	AR68.30-P-4330MFA
10	Fold up clothes hooks (5) and remove screws (6).	Model 118.3, 177.1/9 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)
11	Carefully unclip clothes hooks (5) in the direction of the arrow and release and disconnect electrical connector of left rear interior/reading lamp (E15/12) and right rear interior/reading lamp (E15/13).	Model 118.3, 177.1/9 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.
12	Remove front seats.		AR91.10-P-1000MFA
13	Remove center console.		AR68.20-P-2000MFA
14	Carefully lower roof lining (1) at front.	Helper required.
15	Carefully pull down roof lining (1) from panoramic sliding sunroof.	Model 118.3, 177.1/9 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)
16	Release velcro fasteners of the roof lining (1).
17	Pull roof lining (1) downward out of the guide (2) and toward the front out of the center brake lamp (E21).
18	Remove roof lining (1) through the front door.	Do not kink or bend headliner (1) excessively. Otherwise, cracks or breakage can may occur on the roof lining (1). Helper required.
19	Prepare roof lining (1) for installation.	When replacing roof paneling (1).	AR68.30-P-4305-16MFA
		Adhesive tape roll, non-woven Tesa tape, 50 meters, 50 mm wide	*BR00.45-Z-1144-02A
20	Install in the reverse order.
