Prepare Headliner For Installation - AR68.30-P-4305-16MFA

1. Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2).
2. Remove brackets (4) of sun visors from old roof lining (1).
3. Release and disconnect electrical connectors of left sun visor mirror lamp (E14/1) and right sun visor mirror lamp (E14/2).
4. Remove left sun visor mirror lamp (E14/1) and right sun visor mirror lamp (E14/2) from old roof lining (1).
5. Release and disconnect electrical connectors of driver hands-free system microphone (B25/20) and front passenger hands-free system microphone (B25/21).
6. Remove driver hands-free system microphone (B25/20) and front passenger hands-free system microphone (B25/21) from old roof lining (1).
7. Model 243.6, 247.6 with code 810 (Premium sound system)

   with code 847 (3rd seat row)

   Release and disconnect electrical connectors of left rear hands-free system microphone (B25/32) and right rear hands-free system microphone (B25/33).

8. Model 243.6, 247.6 with code 810 (Premium sound system)

   with code 847 (3rd seat row)

   Remove left rear hands-free system microphone (B25/32) and right rear hands-free system microphone (B25/33) from old roof lining (1).

9. Model 118, 177, 247.0/7 except code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)

   Release and disconnect electrical connector of rear dome lamp (E15/3) and remove rear dome lamp (E15/3) from old roof lining (1).

10. Model 243.6, 247.6

    Release, disconnect electrical connector of center load compartment dome lamp (E15/4) and remove center load compartment dome lamp (E15/4) from old roof lining (1).

11. Expose electrical wiring harness (3) on old roof lining (1) and remove.

    :

    Fasten electrical wiring harness (3) with adhesive tape.

    : Observe routing of lines.

12. Model 118.6, 247.0/7 with code 810 (Premium sound system)

    Tilt the cover panel of the speaker out of the retaining plate and remove the retaining plate from the roof lining (1).

13. Install detachable parts on new headliner (1) in reverse order.
14. Model 118, 177, 247 with code 494 (US version)

    Install new dampings on new roof lining (1).

    

    Take over the installation locations and number of dampings from old roof lining (1).
