10.1	Remove expansion rivet (3) and place fuel pump of stationary heater with connected lines and brackets (4) to one side	Model 222 with code 228 (Additional warm water heating) If diagonal struts (2) are installed.

10.2	Unscrew nut (5), remove expansion rivet (3) and place stationary heater fuel pump with connected lines and bracket (4) to one side	Model 217 with code 228 (Additional warm water heating) Model 222 with code 228 (Additional warm water heating) If no diagonal struts (2) are installed.
11	Remove cover (6) from mounting plate (7)	Model 222 If installed.

14	Detach drive shaft from rear axle differential, push to side and fix in place		AR41.10-P-0050LF
15	Detach brake caliper with connected brake hoses, press to side and fix in place		AR42.10-P-0080LF

18	Remove bolts from rear rpm sensors	Bolt, rpm sensor to wheel carrier	*BA42.30-P-1001-02K
19	Unclip line brackets from wheel carriers and remove with rear rpm sensors, and place to one side
20	Detach electrical connections from level sensors		AR82.10-P-0005LF
21	Unclip electric lines from level sensors on rear axle carrier and place to one side
22	Detach covers (11) from spring control arms
23	Detach suspension struts (10) from spring control arms	Model 222 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))	AR32.25-P-1016LFS

25	Position lifting platform with support at rear axle and secure using tensioning strap

27	Remove bolts (15) from rear elastomer bearings on frame floor assembly	Self-locking bolt securing rear elastomer bearing of rear axle carrier to frame floor assembly	*BA35.10-P-1003-01R
28	Carefully lower rear axle and remove	Make sure that the suspension struts (10) do not get caught in the spring control arms.
29	Install in the reverse order
