1	Put transmission into neutral position.
2	Release parking brake.

4	Remove all heat shields under propeller shaft (1).

8	Unscrew screws from propeller shaft intermediate bearing (3) and extend propeller shaft (1) toward the rear.	Screw in screws so that they are loose and only tighten after the flex disks (4) have been tightened on the transmission and rear axle differential. Vibrations in the drive train and damage may otherwise occur. Make sure that the halves or thirds of propeller shaft do not come apart at the slide joints. Otherwise damage will occur.
	Check
9	Check propeller shaft intermediate bearing (3) for wear and damage.	If problems exist, ↓ Replace propeller shaft intermediate bearing (3).	AR41.40-P-0002LF
10	Check pilot bushings for wear and damage.	If problems exist, ↓ Replace pilot bushings.	AR41.10-P-0250LF
11	Check flex disks (4) for wear and damage.
		If problems exist, ↓ Replace flexible couplings (4).	AP41.10-P-4152HA
12	Install in the reverse order.
