Replace Propeller Shaft Center Support Bearing - AR41.40-P-0002LF

	Remove/install
1	Remove propeller shaft		AR41.10-P-0050LF
2	Separate propeller shaft at the appropriate slide connection
	Long-life grease (NLGI grade 2)		BB00.40-P-0266-02A
		Connect sections of propeller shaft	AR41.10-P-0050-05LF
		Assemble the propeller shaft in the correct position. Vehicles with 3-piece propeller shaft have 2 propeller shaft center support bearings (1).
3	Detach propeller shaft center support bearing (1) from joint fork.		AR41.40-P-0002-02LF

4	Remove ball bearing of rear propeller shaft center support bearing (1)	MODEL 222.9	AR41.40-P-0002-03LF
		The ball bearing of the propeller shaft center support bearing (1) can only be replaced on the rear propeller shaft center support bearing (1).

	Check
5	Check insulation (2a)	In event of damage and loose mounting. Replace insulation (2a): ↓ Clean contact surface of insulation (2a) on propeller shaft center support bearing (1). Glue insulation (2a) onto propeller shaft center support bearing (1).
		The contact surface must be clean, dry and free of grease and dust. Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
6	Check insulation (2b)	Check for any damage and correct seating.
7	Check boot (4)	Check for any damage and correct seating.
8	Install in the reverse order
