Remove/install lower crankcase section at removed engine - AR01.40-P-3200AMG (ML63 AMG): Notes

	Remove/install
1	Secure engine to assembly stand
2	Remove spark plugs		AR15.12-P-1010GZS
3	Remove oil pan bottom section		AR01.45-P-7555GZS
4	Remove oil pan		AR01.45-P-7500GZS
5	Remove oil pump		AR18.10-P-6020GZS
6	Detach A/C compressor from crankcase		AR83.55-P-5300GZ
7	Detach engine support from crankcase		*BA22.10-P-1001-02A
8	Remove vacuum reservoir	For vehicles with vacuum reservoir at the crankcase
9	Remove rear radial shaft sealing ring	AR03.20-P-3063GZS
		Installation: Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring.
10	Unfasten screw/bolts (13, 14, 15) counter to the tightening procedure and remove		AR03.20-P-4351-05AMG
		Installation: Replace screw/bolts (13, 14, 15) and tighten according to tightening procedure.
	Bolt for crankshaft bearing cap (lower section of cylinder crankcase/main bearing threaded connection)		*BA03.20-P-1001-01J
		Cylinder crankcase lower part to cylinder crankcase upper part	*BA03.20-P-1002-01J
11	Pry off lower crankcase section (8) (bed plate) and take off
	Notes on sealant path for timing case cover		AH01.40-P-1000-01AMG
	Information on application of sealant to crankcase bottom section		AH01.40-P-1000-03AMG
		Do not hammer in any pry off tool between upper crankcase section (7) and lower crankcase section (8) (bed plate). The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise.
		Installation: Sealing surfaces must be absolutely oil and grease free before application of the sealant. Leaks can occur otherwise.
		Installation: Apply sealant to upper crankcase section (7) and timing case cover.

		Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper. The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise.
