NOTES Battery voltage 11-14 V
NOTES In order to avoid damaging control modules, connectors must only be disconnected or contacted if "Terminal 15: OFF".
INSPECT Fuses OK
IMPORTANT The emergency call system (TELE AID, A35/8) control module must not, if "Terminal 15R: ON", be rotated around its longitudinal or transverse axis.
The integrated overturn sensor would then register overturn and trigger a TELE AID emergency call.
Always, therefore, lay the emergency call system (TELE AID, A35/8) control module down in its installation position when it has been removed and its leads are connected, and secure it against falling over.
The taxi emergency call function is coupled to the TELE AID emergency call function. Each time the taxi emergency call is checked, checking the TELE AID emergency call must also be integrated.
IMPORTANT Replacing the emergency call system (TELE AID, A35/8) control module, on a trial basis, in order to check the system is impermissible and leads to malfunctions.
IMPORTANT The abusive or unfounded activation of an emergency call is prohibited and can be punished with a fine.
