1	Program transmitters for emergency alarm remote control actuation	The transmitters for the emergency alarm radio remote actuation (A8/4) should be programmed to the vehicle, if not, perform programming.

2	Connect hand-held tester (HHT) to diagnostic connector and select corresponding vehicle
3	Select "EIS version coding"
4	Read/change EIS coding Select "08 MSS version, taxi with emergency alarm/call"
5	MSS version coding Select "4 taxi emergency alarm and call"
6	MSS version coding Select "1 silent alarm"
7	MSS control module adaptations Set "02 radio system" to "YES"	The radio system should be activated so that the "emergency call" can be actuated with the emergency alarm actuation button (S62/6).
8	MSS version coding Select "3 radio remote control actuation"
9	MSS control module adaptations Set "04 taxi radio system" to "YES" "05 taxi emergency call" to "YES"

11	Trigger taxi emergency call	The Tegaron contact person gives instructions for the following steps for the function check. No voice link is established in the case of taxi emergency call; the control center listens into the vehicle. The location of the individual components is described in the following documents.

12	Actuate emergency alarm actuation button (S62/6) twice within 3 s	Tegaron confirms receipt of "emergency call". Otherwise contact Tegaron.
13	Actuate transmitter 1 for emergency alarm radio remote actuation (A8/4) twice within 3 s.	Tegaron confirms receipt of "emergency call". Otherwise contact Tegaron.
14	Actuate transmitter 2 for emergency alarm radio remote actuation (A8/4) twice within 3 s.	Tegaron confirms the receipt of the taxi emergency call. Otherwise contact Tegaron. Two transmitters are normally supplied. The transmitters may be extended arbitrarily. In this case, all transmitters must be tested.
15	Wait for fax answer from Tegaron	Tegaron confirms in writing the parameters of transmission and simultaneously the authorization of the vehicle. Contact Tegaron, if fax answer is not received.
