Center Guide Rail Removal/Installation: Notes
WARNING:
- When removing the center roller, support the sliding door using a jack. If the center roller is removed from the center guide rail, the sliding door could fall down and cause injury, or damage the part.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Third-row seat (See THIRD-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Cargo compartment light (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Center guide rail cover (See CENTER GUIDE RAIL COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the center roller from the sliding door. (See SLIDING DOOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Support the sliding door using a jack.
- Remove the nuts.
- Remove the center guide rail.
- Install in the reverse order of removal. (See SLIDING DOOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
