- Using moulding remover B, detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

- SST: 09813-00010
NOTE:To prevent the assist grip assembly from being damaged, make sure to insert SST straight into the cutout.
- Pull SST as shown in the illustration to detach the claw.NOTE:
To prevent the assist grip assembly from being damaged, make sure to only pull SST as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the claw on the other side of the assist grip cover.
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
- Insert SST into the cutout of the assist grip cover as shown in the illustration.

- Detach the claw and remove the 4 clips.

*a Guide *b Clamp Push the Connector Lock - - - for Front Pillar LH Side:
1. Remove the protective cover installed to the front pillar LH.
2. Remove the bolt and detach the guide.
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Disconnect the washer hose.
5. Detach the clamp.
6. Install the protective cover to the front pillar LH.
- for Front Pillar RH Side:
1. Remove the protective cover installed to the front pillar RH.
2. Pull out the connector with its connector lock pushed to disconnect the lever connector.
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Detach the clamp.
5. Install the protective cover to the front pillar RH.
- for Windshield Glass Side:
1. Disconnect each connector.
- for Rear Pillar LH Side:
1. Disconnect each connector.
2. Disconnect the washer hose.
- for Rear Pillar RH Side:
1. Disconnect the connector.
- for Front Pillar LH Side:
Remove in this Direction - - - Remove the 2 visor holder bases.
Remove in this Direction - - - Detach the clip as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the roof headlining assembly.
- Detach the clip as shown in the illustration.
- for Moon Roof:
*a Fastener - - Remove in this Direction - - - Detach the fastener as shown in the illustration.
- for Panoramic Moon Roof:
*a Fastener - - Remove in this Direction - - - Detach the fastener as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction - - - Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
- Check that the corners of the roof headlining assembly are free of bending, twisting and other deformation and that none of the mounted parts are falling off.
- Do not damage the roof headlining assembly and body interior.
- The headlining assembly must be carried out of the vehicle by multiple people to prevent deformation of the roof headlining assembly.
- Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.
