- REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 - REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 - REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 - REMOVE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 - REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2024]
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL
- Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction - - - Turn back the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 8 clips and claw as shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration to remove the No. 2 instrument side panel.
- Disconnect the connector.
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
- Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
*A w/ Seat Memory Switch - - Remove in this Direction - - - Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 5 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.
- Disconnect each connector.
- REMOVE FUSE BOX OPENING COVER
- Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction - - - Using a moulding remover, disengage the 7 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the fuse box opening cover.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Disengage the claw and 2 guides to disconnect the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.
- REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 - REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 - REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [10/2022 - 10/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [10/2024 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL
- Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction - - - Turn back the front door opening trim weatherstrip RH.
- Using a moulding remover, disengage the 7 clips and claw as shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration to remove the No. 1 instrument side panel.
- Disengage the clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors.
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL END PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 - REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side and RH side.

- Use the same procedure as for the LH side and RH side.
- REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH END PANEL

- REMOVE ROOM LIGHT CONTROL RELAY (w/ Illumination ECU)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
*A w/ Telematics Transceiver - - - Remove the bolt <F>.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Disengage the guide.
- w/ Telematics Transceiver:
1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.
2. Disengage the 2 clamps.
- Disengage the 2 claws to disconnect the cooler (room temp. sensor) thermistor.
- Remove the 2 clips.
- Remove the 2 bolts <A>, 4 bolts <B> and nut <G>.
- Disconnect the 2 airbag connectors.

- Disengage the clamp.
- Disconnect the connector.
Remove in this Direction - - - Disengage the 5 guides and clamp as shown in the illustration to remove the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.NOTE:
- Do not damage the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
- Do not allow the wire harnesses to interfere with the surrounding parts.
- Disengage the 5 guides and clamp as shown in the illustration to remove the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 1 instrument cluster finish panel garnish is necessary.
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 instrument cluster moulding is necessary.
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish is necessary.
- REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the glove compartment door lock cylinder assembly is necessary.
Remove in this Direction - - - Move the glove compartment door lever as shown in the illustration.
- Using a screwdriver, press the cylinder lock plate to release it and pull out the glove compartment door lock cylinder assembly from the glove compartment door lever to remove it as shown in the illustration.
