Installation [07/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Lift up the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly and set it on the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction - -
    2. Push as shown in the illustration to insert the guide.

      Install in this Direction - -
    3. Install the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly with the 8 bolts <D> and nut <C>.

      *1 Cooler Thermistor (Recirculated Air Temperature) - -
      Bolt <D> Nut <C>
    4. Attach the claw to install the cooler thermistor (recirculated air temperature) to the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
    5. Attach the clamp.
    6. Connect the connector.

    7. Connect the 2 connectors.

    8. Attach the clamp.

    9. Connect the connector and attach the clamp.

    10. Install the 2 bolts <H>.

      Bolt <H>

      Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

    11. Connect airbag connector.

      HINT: 

      Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector: Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [07/2020 - 05/2023]

  2. INSTALL NO. 3 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 
    1. Install the No. 3 side defroster nozzle duct.

  3. INSTALL NO. 4 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 3 side defroster nozzle duct.

  4. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the No. 3 instrument panel to cowl brace sub-assembly with the bolt <A> and nut <B>.

      *A w/ Clearance Sonar System

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)

      Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf) 

    2. Attach the clamp.
  5. INSTALL HEATER TO REGISTER CENTER SUB DUCT 
    1. Install the heater to register center sub duct with the 2 screws <E> or <G>.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR DUCT 
    1. Insert the No. 1 air duct in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to install it with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  7. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL SWITCH HOUSING 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - 05/2023]

  8. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  9. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Insert the guide in direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the claw to install the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
